Setup of a PmWiki System at UniK

Beskrivelse:

  • Set-up Apache server on either Windows or Linux
  • Install PmWiki
    • done, but error: a.o. edit and login don't work (show only content and don't execute). Might be allowance to run scripts on this page (ask Trond)
    • Page content of current page http://wiki.unik.no should be identical to http://www.unik.no/~josef/ (after redirect). Some features are not shown (permissions?)
  • '*Document installation features in a Wiki page*'

Features for the PmWiki:

  • done - wiki.unik.no is up and running, using Apache
  • done - PmWiki standard set-up
  • PmWiki Farm is installed (see: local/farmconfig.php) but has problems. Goal is to have different projects, home and other areas from "top level", e.g. http://wiki.unik.no/josef http://wiki.unik.no/
  • File upload/attach: Attach:picture.gif Δ (does not work - permissions?)
  • Authentication, (password distribution, .htaccess)
    • provide examples for fields in ?action=admin (read, edit, admin)
    • establish groups, e.g. ansatt, student,
    • find out how to secure single pages/area (.htaccess?, user = Josef, or group = ansatt)
  • example of home page (see farm/farm.template)
    • write procedure on how to establish new project/area myarea, based on cp farm.template myarea
    • establish example page for Master Degree
  • establish dynamic menues with indication if the user is logged in. lean.tmpl is installed Opens for dynamic menues,

Optional:

  • Calendar (or other useful plugins)
  • done - Link to mail subsystem (majordomo) - discuss with Trond

Målsetting: establish PmWiki with functionality described above
